Sorry I have been a little M.I.A, it has been a crazy busy past few days but I will have some good content for you this week…I promise! I thought I would share some of my essentials for the day.
I never leave the house without a watch, fragrance or a little makeup because I always like being put together no matter what.
My current obsession is the Dior nude air luminizer I have these in a couple shades and I love the natural yet glam finish of these. (quick tip…the brush that comes with the highlighter is GREAT for applying foundation to the skin…I actually use a different brush to apply this highlighter.
I have many favorite fragrances but today I used the JO MALONE pomegranate noir perfume. This is definitely a spicier fragrance so I recommend smelling it in store before buying….but it is one of their top sellers!
Watches are a must have for me! I think they are crucial for everyday wear, they up your jewelry game and keep you on time for everything lol. I have a few in my collection and I change them up depending on what I’m wearing or what mood I’m in. Todays watch is by Fendi…this watch is pretty old and I cannot find the silver style but here is the Fendi Classico or exact style with gold Fendi two toned watch
I hope you all have a good night and see you in my next post!
I love mixing prints and textures during any season, it makes outfits more fun and unique. I was running errands and wanted to wear something comfy and casual so I decided to put together a simple tee with sequin stars, polka dot joggers, penny loafers; and white framed sunnies to give the look a retro vibe.
What I’m wearing:
Star tee- Zara find similar here or here
Polka dot joggers- Zara find similar here
Shoes- Coach find similar here
Bag- Rebecca Minkoff
Sunnies- Kenneth Cole find very similar style here
Star chokers- Missguided
Red lipstick- Chanel “rouge rebelle”
Long weekend is done and it’s back to reality which means work work work! I hope everyone had a fun and relaxing 4th of July. My Boyfriend and I BBQ’d all day and sat out in the yard and then went to a family members home for some yummy desserts. We ate so much that we were in a food coma all night but isn’t drinking and eating what you’re supposed to do for the 4th of July!? so then yea I don’t feel guilty for eating my body weight in food and dessert lol.
It’s really funny because as we were sitting outside with family and friends, we were talking about everyone getting eaten alive by mosquitos and I was gloating about the fact that I have not gotten one mosquito bite…….not even 30 minutes later I got bit and not only did I get bit but it left a HUGE ball in the middle of my leg. Go figure that I would jinx myself then have to endure this giant, itchy mosquito bite on my leg
(way to go Elizabeth….)
Other than the nasty mosquito bite, we had a great time and are looking forward to having many more fun days this summer.
Have a great Wednesday lovelies!
Happy 4th everyone!
Before we start our festivities I thought I would show you guys my outfit for today.
What is everyone up to today? My Boyfriend and I are going to BBQ all day and sit outside in the sun, then catch some fireworks with family and friends……it’s a beautiful day in Chicago and I plan on getting a nice tan!
Jumper- Splendid (now on sale!)
Shoes- from Greece
Star choker- Missguided (comes in two pack…for $11!!!!)
Have a good and safe 4th lovelies!
Summer is here, and denim cutoffs are the thing!
I decided to style mine with a graphic tee, a kimono, a belt and some cute chunky heels. I am a little on the curvier side so I have to pick styles that work for me…..I embrace my curves! I love a good cuffed pair of shorts, ripped denim and boyfriend style denim as well. There are so many other ways you can style cutoffs….let me know if you want me to put a look book together with all the varieties…..leave a comment!
Graphic tee- Nordstrom (from a long time ago) find similar in white here
Denim shorts-STS blue similar here
Kimono-AKIRA (so old it can be classified as vintage lol JK)
Have a great Monday!
Good Morning all!
Don’t mind me while I work and have breakfast, and coffee at the same time
How was everyone’s weekend? Mine was nice and relaxing, Saturday was a chill day, and Sunday my boyfriend and I had date night and went to our favorite sushi spot called UMAMI sushi. We love this place because it’s all you can eat sushi (literally, until you fall over) and even better….it’s BYOB!
One of my favorite soups to have is Miso, it’s so simple yet so good
Literally, happiness in a roll!
What are some of your favorite sushi spots? leave a comment, we love trying new restaurants.
Its a hot day today in Chicago, and I wanted to wear something light and airy.
Denim cutoffs are one of my favorite things to wear for summer because they are so trendy and effortlessly cool. Some ways I like wearing my cutoffs are with band tees which gives it a vintage rocker chic vibe, or dressing it up with a nice blouse and some dope heels. You can totally rock this look and make it your own….be creative!
I chose to pull my look together with denim cutoffs by the brand STS blue (super affordable!)
My top is from the brand ASTR, this top is super old and no longer available
My heels are by Dolce and Gabbana and they are a rare pair, not sure if they still exist anywhere
Clutch by YSL (this style I think might be discontinued but you can find similar styles)
Nail polish by Chanel number 584 “Bleu pastel”
How do you guys wear your denim cutoffs?
